Watering new turf

If you have a new turf lawn laid, remember that it is really important to water the turf well every day for the first 3-4 weeks, then weekly for the next few weeks during dry periods. But how much water do you need and how can you tell if it's not enough?

What's New in 2016

It's a bit late to be posting our first bit of news for 2016, but the weather is so wintry at the moment you could be forgiven for thinking the date is wrong. Much of our landscaping work at the moment is the same is for 2015, just much busier. Even the manufacturers couldn't offer any groundbreaking new materials this year, instead offering variations on the same themes.

Artificial Grass - the low maintenance option

We recently completed a turfing assignment with a difference - using artificial grass. This is something we are asked to do from time to time, but it is certainly not our most common type of job. Most of you will be familiar with the use of artificial grass as an all-weather sports surface, but its use within regular gardens is slowly increasing.
